gross, entertaining & educational

ALL AT THE SAME TIME

ANIMAL GROSSOLOGY does a great job of turning something so disgusting into a fun learning experience.

Animal Grossology, created and managed by Advanced Exhibits is an exciting and uniquely educational exhibition based on the second book in the GROSSOLOGY series written by science teacher Sylvia Branzei. Grossology is science in disguise, using imaginative interactive exhibits and animated characters set in a virtual 3-D animal world. Behind every exhibit is a scientifically accurate concept presented in a way that kids get.

Absolutely disgusting way to get kids to enjoy learning and laughing.

The Animal Grossology exhibition is a physical extension of the book and explains to children ages 6 to 14 how and why animals bodies produce sticky, slimy, stinky things that many people think are gross. This colorful exhibition uses sophisticated animatronics and imaginative exhibits to actively engage visitors. Learning is achieved through the use of interactive experiences, challenges and just plain fun.

This exhibition will engage all your senses as it takes you on a disgustingly fun learning adventure! From understanding how cows digest food to seeing what strange things people eat around the world to investigating owl poop, you are sure to be grossed out.

This exhibition is filled with hands-on activities. Guests will explore how icky leeches are used after some surgeries to assist in the healing process. Did you know that cows are one of the gassiest animals on earth? Learn why the dung beetle is nature’s living pooper scooper, and why scientists are studying slug and snail slime production for clues in treating cystic fibrosis.

Prepare to be “en-GROSS-ed”!

Animal Grossology contains solid science and introduces it in a way that makes kids and adults alike giggle. Parents and educators enjoy the laughter as young students discover the science behind the stinky, slimy, and offensive waste products of the animal world.

The exhibition brings favorite characters from the book, like Frankie the Fly, to life, creating a hands-on learning experience.
